Save the date! Next Saturday the 8th of December, the Altos de Chavon Regional Archaeological Museum invites you to celebrate the “Noche Larga de los Museos” (The Museums’ Long Night), a series of cultural activities given by distinguished graphic artist and ceramist, Thimo Pimentel – which will end up with a fun search/treasure hunt for ceramics hidden around Altos de Chavon!

As part of the “Noche Larga de los Museos” a culutral event which has been celebrated in the country for several years now, the Altos de Chavon Regional Archaeological Museum will be joining the celebration, offering Casa de Campo visitors, residents and villa owners, the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful cultural and dynamic conference given by invited guest Thimo Pimentel – who will introduce attendants to the world of Stealth Art, an innovative new artmovement, which includes performance, ceramics, graffiti, photography, use of GPS, clay graphics, and even fortage from hidden video cameras.
At the end of the activity the audience is invited to take part in a “treasure hunt” around Altos de Chavon, in search of decorated ceramic cylinders (pictured right), signed by the artist, and those that find them will get to take them home with them to keep!
