Save the date! On Friday and Saturday the 17th and 18th of February, the “Patronato Benéfico Oriental” will celebrate the 15th Annual Hogar del Niño Weekend in Casa de Campo – and you are all cordially invited!
The Annual Hogar del Niño Weekend is a fundraising activity held in Casa de Campo, with many sports activities, such as golf, tennis and polo tournaments, as well as bike marathon and other fun activities, celebrated to raise money for the Hogar del Niño, a children’s daycare centre in La Romana which cares for and educates more than 1,500 children every day.

Also coming up soon is the annual “Adopt a Crib, Thank You Dinner”, will take place on Wednesday 25th of February!
The “Adopt a Crib” scheme at the Hogar del Niño is the foundation’s main source of income and requieres an annual donation of at least US$1,000 to symbolically “adopt a crib” in the Hogar del Niño’s Crib room “La Sala Cuña”, which has over 200 cribs and babies!

The Hogar del Niño
The Hogar del Niño is a children’s daycare and educational center for over 1500 children, located in La Romana town, just outside of Casa de Campo. Children from as young as just a few weeks old up to 18 years old are cared for and educated daily, from as early as 5:30am and staying as late as 7pm.
The organization also provides special schooling to over 75 hearing impaired and blind children, as well as a vocational school where over 235 students receive classes in different areas like: sewing; industrial preparation, installation and electrical maintenance; plumbing and management of computer office programs.
