Rodrigo Huerta and Stefania Mosyagina once again emerged victorious at the 2024 National Junior Championships hosted by the Dominican Golf Federation (Fedogolf) and the National Junior Tour. Held at Casa de Campo’s Teeth of the Dog and The Links golf courses the event featured over 80 young participants, including international players aged 4 to 18.

Huerta clinched the championship with scores of 69+71 and 72, totaling 212 strokes. Following closely behind were Daniel Vanososte with 215 strokes in second place, and Antonio Oliva in third with 219 strokes.

In the women’s 15-18 category, Mosyagina secured her victory with 232 strokes over three rounds, with Shanel Rodríguez finishing as the runner-up with 252 strokes.

The competition also saw outstanding performances in other age categories. Waldo Aguasvivas dominated the 13-14 age group with 146 strokes, while Alejandro Balbuena claimed the 11-12 title with 164 strokes. Diego Columna emerged victorious in the 9-10 category, Nicolas Ventura triumphed in the 7-8 category, and Gustavo Rojas excelled in the 4-6 category.

On the women’s side, notable champions included Shania Reyes in the 13-14 category, María José Ramírez in the 11-12 category, Amalia Polanco in the 9-10 category, Ana Marcano in the 7-8 category, and María Cohen in the 4-6 category.
