Last Saturday the 10th of December, the 7th annual “Copa FUNGLODE” golf tournament was celebrated in Casa de Campo with the esteemed presence of President of the Dominican Republic, Leonal Fernandez who participated in both the inauguration and later in the prize-giving ceremony.
The “Copa FUNGLODE” golf tournament began at midday on Saturday December the 10th with the inauguration ceremony and “saque de honor” led by President Leonel Fernandez, who is also the honorary President of the FUNGLODE. The tournament was then played on Casa de Campo’s Teeth of the Dog and La Romana Country Club golf courses with the participation of 175 players.

Following the golf tournament a gala dinner was celebrated at the La Romana Country Club, with a prize-giving ceremony. Among the winners were Gustavo Lusarreta and Daniel Bottero who were the overall winners on the Teeth of the Dog and Johan Llenas with Mariano Briceño, the overall winners on the La Romana Country Club.
