The hotel will be officially opened next Tuesday the 22nd of December, but the new hotel pool area, fitness centre, lobby and infirmary will all be open tomorrow – Thursday the 17th of December!

No doubt you are desperate to go down and visit, have a dip in the new pool, try out the new gym, have a wander around the new lobby and other swanky areas, and you only have one more day to wait! So exciting!

So that you have a good idea of what to expect here is a little inside info about the pool area:

Thus far, we have not revealed much about the pool area. In these photos (taken on Sunday) you can see that the original pools have remained the same, but by upgrading almost every other aspect – the entire feel and overall ambiance of this area has been transformed.

Inside the pool there is still the swim-up bar, upgraded with a new lit canopy and waterfall cascade (visible in the above header photo.) To the left and right of the main pool and to the right of the upper pool are sun-bathing areas, which will be decked out with new sun-loungers, and at the end of the main pool area will be a grassy area with more sun-loungers.

Around the upper pool area, as well as sun-loungers there will also be sun-beds, sofas and chairs in two separate areas, for a more social setting – and available to the first people who get there!

Where the old bathroom area used to be (to the right of the main pool) there is a new restroom block, with a man’s and woman’s restroom facility (each with it’s own private garden), disabled restroom facilities and the new infirmary. In the same area is the new showering area – with 6 ‘rain’ showers.

NOTE: These photos were taken on Sunday – I am informed that now the furniture has been put into place and it’s simply gorgeous!
