December 2 marks the grand onset of the festive season in the Casa de Campo community, where tradition and celebration converge in a magnificent spectacle. The Christmas Lighting Ceremony initiates this joyful period, accompanied by a captivating live nativity performance by the talented children of Fundación MIR.
Residents and visitors are cordially invited to gather at Altos de Chavón’s central Plaza, in front of the St. Stanislaus Church, to witness this cherished portrayal of the nativity story.

Adorned in vibrant costumes symbolizing shepherds, angels, wise men, Mary, and Joseph, the students of Fundación MIR will breathe life into the timeless narrative of Jesus’s birth. These young performers will take the stage with grace and enthusiasm, embracing the season’s spirit through traditional Dominican carols.
