La Romana Bayahibe Hotel Association Announces the XII La Romana Golf Tournament

The XII Torneo de Golf La Romana will tee off on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the prestigious The Links golf course within Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. This year’s event will bring together over 100 participants for a day of competitive golf with a cause, while also honoring Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg, president of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.

A Tribute to Leadership in Tourism

The tournament will be dedicated to Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg, recognizing his exceptional leadership and contributions to the tourism industry. With over 30 years of experience in international hospitality, Pichardo Rosenberg has been instrumental in Casa de Campo’s growth and transformation since his appointment in 2016.

“Andrés Pichardo’s leadership has been crucial in strengthening Casa de Campo’s position both locally and internationally,” said Andrés Fernández, president of the Asociación de Hoteles La Romana-Bayahibe (AHRB).

Pichardo Rosenberg, a graduate of Cornell University, has held significant roles across multiple international hotel chains, including serving as Senior Vice President of Operations and Marketing for regions such as the United States, Mexico, Aruba, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic.

A Scramble for a Cause

The tournament will follow the Scramble format, a team-based competition designed to foster teamwork and ensure a fun and dynamic experience for golfers of all levels. But beyond the friendly competition, this event is committed to making a positive impact. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local social organization, supporting community development initiatives.

“Every swing and every putt will be an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most,” said Fernández.
