Under a clear sky after a rainy day, Kany García turned the Altos de Chavón amphitheater into a sanctuary of emotions. With an electrifying energy and a voice that touches the soul, the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter captivated a crowd that filled every corner of the venue, singing along to every word of her extensive repertoire.
From the first chords of Una Vida Buena, the audience surrendered completely, joining her on a journey through love, heartbreak, and resilience. Songs like Soy Yo, Titanic, La Culpa, and Hoy Ya Me Voy echoed powerfully, proving just how deeply her lyrics resonate with Dominican hearts.

A Moment for the History Books
During one of the pauses between songs, García expressed her deep affection for the country, declaring, “Being in the Dominican Republic feels like being home.” The already enthralled audience responded with a thunderous ovation. The connection was undeniable as if every word formed an invisible bond between them.
One of the night’s highlights came when she paid tribute to Juan Luis Guerra with a rendition of Bachata Rosa. Before performing, she shared her admiration for the Dominican legend: “When people tell me my music reminds them of him, it’s the greatest compliment I could receive.” Though Guerra couldn’t join her on stage, his presence was felt in every note.

The Announcement That Set the Crowd Ablaze
As if the night couldn’t be any more perfect, García delivered news that sent her fans into a frenzy: her next concert in the Dominican Republic will take place on Feb. 14, 2026, at Estadio Quisqueya. The announcement sparked cheers and applause, with fans celebrating the chance to see her perform once again.
A Night to Remember
The concert ended with Agüita e Coco, leaving the audience’s hearts beating to the rhythm of her music. García summed up the experience on social media with a heartfelt message: “My sister island, last night I said it all. I left feeling light because you took it all from me — and you have no idea how good you all are for me; I felt every moment.”

With a performance filled with passion and emotion, Kany García didn’t just put on a concert — she gave a piece of her soul to a crowd that embraced every note.
