Are you ready for some fun? The 17th Hogar del Niño weekend starts today!
Today’s events include the Homes and Gardens tour around some of Casa de Campo’s most magnificent villas, as well as a visit to the Hogar del Niño – where all the magic happens!
The finals of the Hogar del Niño Cup polo tournament were also scheduled to take place today at 4pm, but due to rain this celebration has now been moved to Saturday at 4pm and the prize-giving ceremony will take place at the La Romana Country Club during the dinner-dance.
On Saturday (tomorrow) the good times will continue with events for all the family – golf, tennis, polo, mountain biking and zumba, closing with the dinner-dance party at the La Romana Country Club with the participation of DJ Luz!

The Hogar del Niño
The Hogar del Niño is a children’s daycare and educational center for over 1500 children, located in La Romana town, just outside of Casa de Campo. Children from as young as just a few weeks old up to 18 years old are cared for and educated daily, from as early as 5:30am and staying as late as 7pm.
The organization also provides special schooling to over 75 hearing impaired and blind children, as well as a vocational school where over 235 students receive classes in different areas like: sewing; industrial preparation, installation and electrical maintenance; plumbing and management of computer office programs.
