With the 14th annual Hogar del Niño fundraising weekend just a few weeks away (Feb.14th and 15th), we are now starting to hear details of all the exciting events and activities that will make this year’s gathering just as legendary as we’ve come to expect.
The most recent announcement is a Zumbathon with Claudine Naninni, from Miami Florida. Joining Claudine as special guests, will be our favorite Zumba girls – the Casa de Campo Zteam – Daniela Diazgranados, Lia Matos, Gaby Grisolia and Fefi Diazgranados.
As with all activities which form part of the Hogar del Niño fundraising weekend, all funds raised are 100% destined to the Hogar del Niño and their many programs, which help more than 1500 children of the greater La Romana area get not only a great education but also health care, and much more.

Zumba Classes
If you LOVE Zumba, you can join the Casa de Campo ZTeam – Daniela Diazgranados, Lia Matos, Gaby Grisolia and Fefi Diazgranados – and many many other Casa de Campo ladies for their regular booty shaking classes!

The Hogar del Niño
The Hogar del Niño is a children’s daycare and educational center for over 1500 children, located in La Romana town, just outside of Casa de Campo. Children from as young as just a few weeks old up to 18 years old are cared for and educated daily, from as early as 5:30am and staying as late as 7pm.
The organization also provides special schooling to over 75 hearing impaired and blind children, as well as a vocational school where over 235 students receive classes in different areas like: sewing; industrial preparation, installation and electrical maintenance; plumbing and management of computer office programs.
