Fundación MIR Family Day Returns on August 17

Fundación MIR invites you to its annual Family Day event on Saturday, Aug. 17. This day is filled with sports, celebration and community support at Casa de Campo. This year, we gather once again to celebrate Mission International Rescue’s (MIR) incredible efforts in providing education and healthcare to the youth of La Romana.

Fundación MIR, known for its commitment to education and healthcare for the youth of La Romana, manages three schools that serve over 2,000 students. The annual Family Day plays a crucial role in raising funds to support these initiatives under the inspiring motto “Ayudando a ser,” helping the children become the best they can be for a brighter future.

Prepare for an exhilarating day filled with thrilling golf tournaments, an exciting tennis competition, a special tennis clinic exclusively designed for kids and a spirited paddle battle! And, of course, no Family Day is complete without the traditional dinner and awards ceremony, where we come together to recognize outstanding achievements.

The Family Day event not only brings together residents, visitors and villa owners but also serves as a reminder of the importance of community support in fostering the growth and success of the youth in La Romana. Fundación MIR encourages everyone to mark their calendars and join the festivities.
