From visits with Santa Claus to movie nights under the stars, here are the featured events to wrap up the week of December 15th to 21st.
Friday, December 19th
The holiday spirit is felt in every corner, starting with traditional activities and outdoor entertainment.
- Santa and his Elves at Altos de Chavón
- Location: Santa’s Gardens.
- Time: 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
- The little ones can meet Santa and his helpers in the magical setting of Chavón.
- Outdoor Movie Night
- Location: Driving Range.
- Time: 7:30 P.M.
- Details: Get your golf cart ready! Come enjoy a family movie with a classic cinema menu: hamburgers, popcorn, cotton candy, and refreshments.
Saturday, December 20th
Saturday pulls out all the stops with a diverse lineup ranging from faith-based services to live music at La Marina and Chavón.
At Altos de Chavón:
- Catholic Mass: 5:00 P.M. at St. Stanislaus Church.
- Santa and his Elves: 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Santa’s Gardens.
- Chavón Market: 6:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M. at Plaza Chavón. A perfect opportunity to find local crafts, unique gifts, and gastronomic delights in a festive atmosphere.
- Taino Stamp Workshop Under the Stars: At the Altos de Chavón Regional Museum of Archaeology Plaza, from 7:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Don’t miss the chance to create your own stamps just as the island’s indigenous people did. Free activity for all ages.
At La Marina (Plaza Portofino):
- Carol Concert and Visit from Santa: 6:00 P.M. Enjoy the children’s choir led by Maestro Pablo Polanco, featuring a special electric cello performance and a visit from holiday characters.
- Live Music: 8:30 P.M. The night continues with the beats of DJ Kambax.
Sunday, December 21st
To culminate the week, we gather as a community to celebrate the traditions that unite us.
- Catholic Mass: 6:00 P.M. at St. Stanislaus Church, Altos de Chavón.
- Santa and his Elves: 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. The final opportunity of the week to visit Santa’s Gardens in Altos de Chavón.
