The Casa de Campo Living Bazaar Dueños 2010 on Sunday October the 10th, from 11AM to 7PM, in Altos de Chavón will be a fantastic day of shopping, entertainment and fun for all the family with MANY different kids activities to keep the little ones amused!

El Bazaar Dueños 2010 el domingo 10 de Octubre, 11AM – 7PM, será un dia llena de diversión y actividades, ademas de shopping, tenemos pautado entretenimiento como un malabarista , musica en vivo y muchos actividades para los niños!

Here is our guide of everything that will be going on for children – we’ve organised many different activities to make sure the adults can really enjoy the shopping and the champagne bar by La Enoteca.

Kids Fashion Show by Pequeña Modelo Camp (Desfile Fashion Show)
During the ‘Kids Fashion Show’ workshop, kids will be given modelling advice and instruction on posing, posture and walking on the catwalk, as well as receiving a ‘make-over’ with real fashion make-up, accessories and clothes to model! At the end of every workshop the girls will ‘model’ their new look during a 20 minute LIVE fashion show!!

Photo Art by Periodikito
The ‘Photo Art’ workshop is a unique opportunity to create artwork out of your own photo! Periodikito will be taking photos of participants, and print them out and then with the help of ‘perlasplasticas’ (plastic pearls) you will turn your photo into a work of art!

The ‘Kids Korner’ by the Hogar del Niño
The Hogar del Niño are organising a range of kids activities, for which there will be a small charge to take part, all money raised will go directly to help care for the more than 1,000 children who are educated and looked after at the Hogar del Niño everyday.  As well as the kids activities the Hogar del Niño will be sellina great range of merchandise! You will find the ‘Kids Korner’ in the plaza outside the Museo Arqueológico.
The following activities will be on offer:

  • ‘Colouring In’ – little tables and chairs with colouring pencils and cartoon sheets for the littlest ones to color in! (Colorear)
  • A Ring Toss – kids will try to throw rings over cones to win prizes! (Juego de Feria: Tirar aro en los conos)
  • Dart throwing – kids will throw darts at water balloons to win prizes! (Juego de Feria: Dardos con globos)

Kidz n’ Casa – FREE games and activities!
The team from Casa de Campo’s family programs and Kidz n Casa will be offering a number of activities totally FREE! The Kidz n’ Casa games area will be next to the La Piazetta Cafe (where a VERY discounted lunch menu will be being served – click here to see the menu.)
The following activities will be on offer:

  • Board games (juegos de mesa)
  • Face Painting (pinta caritas)
  • ‘Party games’ (juegos de fiesta
  • Special guest visit from ‘Camilo en Casa’ the friendly green Casa de Campo lizard (aparición de Camilo)

The Museo Arqueológico Taino Kids Adventure
The Altos de Chavón Regional Museum of Archaeology will be bringing Hispaniola’s pre-European history, culture, and art to life during a Taino adventure with:

  • Taino clay figure making (hacer figurines de barro)
  • Taino face painting (Taino pinta cara)
  • Guided tours of the museum, leaving from the main entrance every half hour throughout the bazaar.
