The NEW hotel will be officially opened in just 21 days – on the 21st of December!
The renovation of the hotel has been a topic of great interest and has been a popular topic of conversation at the average Casa de Campo dinner table or cocktail party for the last few months! Finally the project is drawing to a close and we can reveal a little more of what is going on!
I was invited on a tour of the new hotel area, which I expected to be little more than a building site – I was in fact shocked to discover that the entire area looks to be honest…finished, well almost!
The new entrance area looks fantastic, with beautiful stone walkways, framed with wooden trellising and tropical trees, which lead into the brand new lobby area – complete with a new check-in desk, which although lacking the final finishing touches, already looks majestic.
The main swimming area, which although based around the same pool – has changed completely, with new sunbathing and shaded spaces, new shower area and completely modern and renovated changing/restroom area.
Above the pool area, set around a central lawn is what will be the new “La Caña Restaurant & Lounge by Il Circo” which already looks incredible, with what I’m sure will be a very relaxing outdoor area. Also around this central lawn is the new gym, which is easily twice the size of the old one.
Because of the VERY close proximity of the opening, and so not to spoil the surprise – the photos that we are publishing are meant as ‘teasers,’ for the overall finished product, you’re just going to have to wait!
I for one can’t wait – having seen the nearly finished product, I am so excited! Let the countdown begin….
