Last Friday the 27th of May the fashion graduates of the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design celebrated their acheivements and the end of their artistic time in Altos de Chavón with a spectacular fashion show, Estilo 2011: The Silk Road – an event which was celebrated with a wine and cheese cocktail! In true Dominican style the Estilo 2011 fashion show which was due to start at 8pm started late – which was fantastic because it gave all the students and guests the chance to mingle and enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese! After the show when everyone was overwhelmed by the stunning designs and the incredible talent of Altos de Chavón’s up and coming designers, the wine and cheese reception continued, with a real triumphant and celebratory atmosphere – with many of the guests congratulating the students and toasting to their success and their bright futures!
