It has just been announced that the ‘Festival Isis de Baile Oriental’ or ‘Belly Dance in a Caribbean Paradise’ as it’s also being referred to will be held in Casa de Campo from March 15th through to March 21st 2010.

Silvana Tirado de Soto – La Madrina de Los Toros del Este
It has just been announced that Silvana Tirado de Soto, will be the ‘Madrina’ for the Baseball Team Los Toros del Este. ‘Madrina’ literally translates as godmother, but in this case means mascot.
“Arte Rupestre Prehispanico en la Espanola” – conference hosted by La Casa de Italia
La Casa de Italia cordially invites you to their lastest conference “Arte Rupestre Prehispanico en la Espanola,” which can be roughly translated as ‘prehistoric rock art in Hispaniola.’ This conference is being hosted by Adolfo Lopez, but unfortunately for those of us who live in Casa de Campo, it will be held in Santo Domingo.

Inauguration of “Ainotna”
Last night, Thursday the 24th of September the Altos de Chavon art gallery hosted the inauguration event for the opening of it’s latest art exhibition, called Ainotna. This weekend there are a whole host of plays on in Santo Domingo, so if for some inexplicable reason you can’t be here in Casa de Campo and instead you absolutely must be in Santo Domingo, at least there’s plenty of cultural entertainment options to keep you amused!
The Sommelier Italian Association hosts a wine tasting at the Beach Club by le Cirque
Casa de Campo’s Minitas Beach hosted the fun, relaxing and informal activity of SIA Caribbean during the past weekend. After some appetizers, a beautiful Gazebo, complete with elegance and style gave a warm welcome to the guests while we sat on the sofa in the middle of the beach, our feet covered in sand.
