With more than 300 participants, transformative experiences and a program that combined luxury, nature and movement, Casa Wellness 2025 concluded successfully at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas on Sept. 20-21.
Organized by The Spa Casa de Campo® in collaboration with Equilibra, this pioneering event redefined the concept of wellness: not as an isolated moment, but as a lifestyle that connects body, mind and spirit through community.
“Casa Wellness has exceeded our expectations and confirms that the Dominican Republic can become a regional leader in luxury wellness. Seeing so many people connect with nature, with their health and with themselves in this unique setting motivates us to keep growing,” said Irene Campaña, director of Spa & Wellness at Casa de Campo.

Two days of unique experiences
Casa Wellness 2025 unfolded its program across three of the resort’s most iconic venues:
- Minitas Beach Club & Restaurant: sunrise yoga sessions, ice baths, healthy brunch and sensory experiences by the sea.
- Casa Caoba in Altos de Chavón: a dynamic power mat pilates circuit with live music, social wellness and vibrant energy with a DJ.
- The Spa Casa de Campo®: a meditation, hydrotherapy, yin yoga and sound healing circuit in a Forbes Travel Guide four-star setting.
Each space offered participants the chance to rediscover wellness through different perspectives: movement, introspection, social connection and mindful enjoyment.

Casa Wellness is the result of a shared vision between Casa de Campo and Equilibra, a wellness events network co-founded by Isabela Pichardo and Alexandra Hannecart, who aim to transform the way people relate to their physical, mental and emotional health.
“With Casa Wellness, we planted a seed of transformation in how we live and care for ourselves. We are thrilled to see the community respond with such enthusiasm and openness,” said Pichardo.
“The Dominican Republic has all the ingredients to become the epicenter of luxury wellness in the Caribbean. This event proves we are ready to take that step,” added Hannecart.
A movement in expansion
Casa Wellness 2025 has established itself as the first major platform for luxury wellness in the Dominican Republic, positioning the country as the Caribbean hub for transformative experiences.
“At Casa de Campo, we are committed to driving initiatives that transcend the conventional. Casa Wellness has marked a turning point, placing our resort and our country on the international wellness map,” said Charles Keusters, director of operations at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas.
Casa Wellness 2025 closed its first edition with the promise to return bigger and more diverse, reaffirming that wellness is not a fleeting luxury, but a lifestyle that finds its ideal stage at Casa de Campo.
