When wondering where to celebrate their very special day, Cristina’s family and Casa de Campo villa owners, Jeannette and Miguel Cabral, encouraged the newly engaged couple to consider a wedding at the enchanting Casa de Campo resort… where the beautiful St. Stanislaus Church and the tranquil Chavón river of Altos de Chavón makes the perfect backdrop for any special occasion – and especially the most special of them all – a wedding!
When the much awaited day came, the stunning bride – Cristina Boggiano – walked down the aisle of the St. Stanislaus Church in a stunning strapless ivory ball gown with a jewel encrusted corset and chapel train. The groom, Tim Lewis Jr, wore an elegant black tuxedo.
The handsome couple read their own heartwarming vows in a touching Catholic ceremony presided over by Padre Victor Garcia. What a beautiful moment to remember!
Following the ceremony, which ended at sunset, the couple took advantage of the beautiful glow of the setting sun to pose for some fun shots around Altos de Chavón. With the stunning cobbled architecture of Altos de Chavón, the Chavón river and the Dye Fore golf course in the background, the gorgeous couple now have a beautiful portfolio of unique photographs with which to remember their special day by… including a special snap with Margarito the donkey!
The ‘white wedding’ themed reception was then held at the Casa de Campo Hotel’s Salon Flamboyan, where things got turned up a notch. After the newlyweds cut the the intricate 4-tier cake, the guests enjoyed endless cocktails and a delicious dinner, with a serenade by Victor Mitrov, a talented performer of the Dominican National Symphonic Orchestra.
A Casa de Campo wedding: cutting the cake
After dinner, DJ Persio kept the party going with his confetti cannons, hora loca (crazy hour) band and incredible stilt walkers, as well as costume necklaces, party masks and streamers… the perfect ending to the perfect Casa de Campo wedding!
Congratulations to the happy couple, Time Lewis Jr. and Cristina Boggiano!
