Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, always at the forefront of luxury experiences, invites wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts to an unmissable event. In collaboration with American Express, the resort announces a new and fascinating edition of its acclaimed Wine Tasting Series, this time titled “Parallel 40° — The Grenache Belt: A Journey Through the World’s Grenache.”

The event will take place on Nov. 14 and 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the elegant and atmospheric La Piazzetta restaurant. More than just a tasting, this event will be a geographical and oenological journey along the 40th parallel, a privileged latitude that is home to the regions where the Grenache grape, both red and white, reaches its maximum and most complex expression.

A Stellar Lineup of Wines and a Prestigious Sommelier

Attendees will have the privilege of being guided by certified sommelier Eduardo García, who will conduct a meticulously curated tasting. The program includes eight labels that pay tribute to the versatility of Grenache, ranging from the vibrant rosé of Château Peyrassol in Côtes de Provence to the Australian intensity of Brave Faces GSM from Barossa Valley.

The itinerary includes gems such as the innovative Querencia Orange from Aragón, the elegance of Dido Blanc (Monsant), the prestige of M. Chaputier La Bernardine Blanc (Châteauneuf-du-Pape), and the Mediterranean power of Senes Riserva, Cannonau from Sardinia. It will be a unique opportunity to compare and contrast Grenache from Navarra, Priorat, the Rhône and the New World.

Unparalleled Gastronomic Experience

Each wine will be enhanced by an original menu specially designed for the occasion, aiming for the perfect pairing to emphasize the structure and aromatic nuances of each label. The cost for this evening of discovery, sophistication and gastronomic pleasure is US$200 per person.
