Casa de Campo Hosts Spooktacular Golf Cart Decorating Contest

Casa de Campo’s Halloween festivities reached new heights with a spooktacular Golf Cart Decorating Contest on Nov. 1, 2024. Under clear skies, participants and onlookers reveled in the creativity displayed by the numerous golf carts that took part in the contest.

The theme-based designs ranged from eerie witches and spiders to beloved characters like the Scooby Doo. Some participants even went the extra mile by dressing up in costumes to complement their cart themes, adding to the festive atmosphere.

The event, which has become a Halloween tradition, was organized by Casa de Campo’s team and featured various activities, including a barbecue, night golf with glowing balls and shining targets, and plenty of Halloween treats. A DJ provided the soundtrack for the evening, further enhancing the fun-filled environment.

The winning entry was a fully decorated Scooby-Doo Mystery Wagon, with the family in matching costumes, while second place went to a cart fashioned into a screaming Ghostface made from molded white tape. Honorable mentions were given to hotel guests who also decked their assigned carts with spooky elements.

With impressive designs and festive spirits, this year’s event was a hit, continuing the success of last year’s contest. The community can now look forward to even more imaginative entries in the years to come.
