Even the Teeth of the Dog, the #1 golf course in the Caribbean and one of the world’s top places to tee off has to close sometimes! And so to help you avoid any potential disappointment when planning your vacation or visit to Casa de Campo – here we bring you the Casa de Campo golf summer maintenance and closure schedule.
Every summer each course is closed for a period of approximately 6 weeks for essential maintenance – sad but true!
Casa de Campo golf summer maintenance and closure schedule 2013
Dye Fore “Marina”: CLOSED May 6th – October 1st for greens renovation
Links: CLOSED May 13th – June 17th
Teeth of the Dog: CLOSED June 17th – July 30th
Dye Fore “Chavón” and Dye Fore “Lakes”: CLOSED August 1st – September 15th
During closure periods golfers are not permitted to play on the courses (doh!) – which makes closure times an excellent time to enjoy the course on foot or on a bike! In fact all of Casa de Campo’s golf courses make for a beautiful walk – but for the best views and great photo opportunities take a stroll along the coastal holes of the Teeth of the Dog or the riverside holes of the Dye Fore.
