Casa de Campo Resort & Villas served up a smashing celebration for the 45th edition of its annual Tennis Tournament, Copa Casa de Campo, drawing more than 200 players from the Dominican Republic and abroad. Held at the resort’s acclaimed Racquet Center in La Romana, the multi-day event was a blend of competitive spirit, community pride and glamorous off-court festivities.

A Rally for the Ages
From the opening serve, the tournament set an electrifying tone. Amateurs and seasoned players took to the clay in matches that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Cheered on by family, friends and fellow athletes, participants delivered one memorable rally after another.
“This milestone reflects the passion for tennis that has lived at Casa de Campo since day one,” said Matías Territoriale, director of the Racquet Center, in an official statement. “It’s the product of years of dedication from players, sponsors and the entire tennis community.”

Champions Crowned
This year’s tournament saw standout performances across all categories. Enmanuel Muñoz clinched the title in the Open category, while Carlos Florentino and Eunice Avendaño won Mixed C. Other top finishers included:

The competition wasn’t limited to the court. Off-hours were filled with themed dinners, cocktail parties and even a Porsche test drive that added horsepower to the weekend’s lineup. The awards ceremony, held at the racquet center, honored the winners and celebrated four and a half decades of tennis tradition at Casa.

Over the years, Copa Casa de Campo has grown from a local tournament into a premier event for the Caribbean tennis circuit. It has become a beacon for sportsmanship, drawing both first-time competitors and long-time regulars who return year after year.
