Over the last 40 years, Casa de Campo has received a large number of very important people, among them, presidents, ambassadors, successful business men, as well as celebrities of all kinds. There is no doubt that Casa de Campo has been and continues to be a magnet for notable people of all walks of life.
On Saturday the 21st of June of this year, Casa de Campo welcomed the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Mr. Khamis Al- Sahouti; whose visit was motivated by a desire to see what the Casa de Campo resort has to offer in terms of real estate and art, and for this, Mr. Claudio Silvestri (CEO of Casa de Campo) and Dominique Bluhdorn (President of the Altos de Chavón Foundation) accompanied Ambassador Al-Sahouti on a tour of the Casa de Campo resort.
In Altos de Chavón, Mr. Khamis Al- Sahouti visited the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design, as well as the The Regional Archeology Museum of Altos de Chavón, 2 places where he became acquainted with the history of the Dominican Republic, and was able to appreciate the great talent Dominican people have to offer. So impressed and enthused by Altos de Chavón and the Altos de Chavón Foundation, Mr. Khamis Al- Sahouti proposed cooperation, exchange and meetings between the State of Qatar and the Altos de Chavón Foundation. We look forward to seeing how this relationship unfolds!

Then it was Mr. Claudio Silvestri’s turn to bring forward what the villas and hotel project includes in the Casa de Campo resort, to the Ambassador Al- Sahouti, letting him know of the current and future development of this beautiful paradise; motivating the State of Qatar to take advantage of the investment opportunities that the formidable Casa de Campo complex has to offer.
There is no doubt, that Casa de Campo is a magnet for good times and important personalities, indeed the past 40 years can be summed up in one word- excellence.
