It’s true! Mariachi-singing Alejandro Fernandez from Mexico will be performing in the great Altos de Chavón Amphitheater really soon!
This great concert, part of Casa de Campo’s new concert series, will be taking place on Saturday August 29th, right here at the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater.
Alejandro Fernandez, otherwise known as “El Potrillo de México” (foal of Mexico – sorry does not translate well!) is known as one of the greatest idols of Hispanic music, famous for both ranchera and pop music, and will be coming to the Dominican Republic as part of his CONFIDENCIAS World Tour 2015.
The Confidencias World Tour is named after Alejandro Fernandez’s 24th album, Confidencias, released in 2013, which he recorded in Los Angeles with famed producer Phil Ramone. Guests on the album include Rod Stewart, Christina Aguilera, and his father, iconic Mexican ranchera singer Vicente Fernandez. Alejandro became one of Mexico’s biggest international stars in his own right, selling countless tickets with his own brand of romantic Latin pop that pays homage to the ranchera tradition. In concert, he’s noted for his soaring vocals and easy stage presence, not to mention his mid-show costume changes when he transitions from traditional songs to pop.
His most famous songs include; “Me dediqué a perderte”, “Cuando digo tu nombre”, “Me hace tanto bien”, “Canta corazón”, “Qué voy a hacer sin tu amor”, “Se me va la voz”, “Qué lástima”, “No se me hace fácil” and “Si tú supieras”… and we can’t wait to see those performed here in Altos de Chavón!!
Tickets will be on sale at the Casa de Campo Villa Owners Club as well as via Uepa Tickets and Moviemax at Jumbo and Nacional Supermarkets. Tickets prices are as follows: General Entrance: RD$4,280, VIP: RD$9,630.00 and Front Stage: RD$32,250.
