The Altos de Chavón Market is returning to Altos de Chavón on Friday, March 29, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This vibrant marketplace will once again transform the main garden area into a haven for craftsmanship, culture and Dominican flavors.

A Look Back at the Last Edition

The previous edition, held on Feb. 22, was a feast for the senses. Local artisans showcased handcrafted treasures, blending creativity with Dominican heritage. Artisan wowed visitors with pieces inspired by Altos de Chavón’s charm, while Rebecca Barker’s sourdough bread was a crowd favorite. Petalú’s cupcakes left a lasting impression, both visually and in taste, and Abeja Dulce’s honey and casabe pairings were a sweet delight.

Be Kind and La Limonada Roja filled the air with soothing aromas from their natural candles, Mustard Seed stood out as a unique and delightful option to surprise your loved ones, and Cocolísimo turned heads with handbags shaped like a Dominican woman in hair rollers. Even the little ones had their fun, enjoying entertaining drawings while parents shopped.

Why You Shouldn’t Miss It

If you missed the last edition, consider this your new opportunity to explore a showcase of local talent and flavors. Whether you’re on the hunt for one-of-a-kind handcrafted goods, craving authentic Dominican treats, or simply looking for a lively afternoon immersed in creativity, this is the perfect opportunity.

Stay tuned for more surprises, and don’t forget to swing by Altos de Chavón’s main garden area on March 29 for an unforgettable experience!
