Heliconia Projects presents “Where Memory Takes Shape,” a collective exhibition to be held at the La Romana Country Club in Casa de Campo. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m., featuring an evening that combines artistic appreciation with social commitment.

The exhibition showcases the talent of five prominent international artists: Emiliana Henríquez, Natia Lemay, Mahsa Tehrani, Emily Pope, and Adelisa Selimbašić. Through their work, the show explores a profound premise: the human body as a vessel where memory not only accumulates and persists but manifests physically, transcending the barriers of conventional language.
Beyond its aesthetic value, this third annual edition maintains a strong philanthropic focus. The exhibition benefits the MIR Foundation, directly supporting its social work for the education and well-being of children and youth in the La Romana region.
The opening will offer an intimate experience of reflection and connection under the leadership of Nicole Bainov, co-founder and director of Heliconia Projects.
