Casa de Campo Resort & Villas successfully concluded the third edition of its acclaimed event, “ALMA Casa de Campo.” This year, the gathering reaffirmed its position as a strategic meeting point for Dominican and Spanish capital. The event, which took place from Nov. 20 to 22, was an unforgettable experience that masterfully fused Andalusian tradition with haute cuisine and business networking.

The weekend began Thursday, Nov. 20, with the exclusive Networking ALMA cocktail, which brought together a large number of entrepreneurs from both nations. The Spanish founders and businesswomen, Cuchy Pérez and Susana Deleito, emphasized the event’s vision: to position the Dominican Republic as a privileged and secure destination for Spanish investment, as well as to strengthen commercial ties between the two countries.

Events continued Friday, Nov. 21, at the Marina Riverside with a dazzling gala dinner. The evening was a black-tie affair where attendees enjoyed a menu and dessert personally designed by the prestigious chef Ramón Freixa, who holds two Michelin stars. The evening culminated with a spectacular flamenco presentation starring the singing virtuoso, Miguel Poveda, who filled the atmosphere with overflowing passion.

The Flavor of Seville in La Romana

The most anticipated day was Saturday, Nov. 22, when the essence of the Seville April Fair (Feria de Abril de Sevilla) was masterfully recreated.

The public was greeted by a monumental replica of the famous Seville Fair Gate, an ephemeral and symmetrical structure that, under the name “ALMA,” dominated the scene with its vibrant colors (yellow, red and blue) and rich architecture. This grand entrance not only served as an access point but also as a spectacular backdrop for a light show, thanks to its rear screens.

Inside, the space was transformed into an authentic fairground (Real de la Feria) composed of typical casetas (tents), where exquisite Spanish tapas and a select range of wines were served.

Saturday’s schedule featured a vibrant display of Andalusian culture. Numerous women wore their finest flamenco attire with colorful Sevillana dresses. The most exciting moment of the event was the Equestrian Sevillanas exhibition, where the female dancers executed the steps of the Sevillana dance around and alongside majestic horses, in a perfect synchrony of dance and equestrian mastery.

Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg, president of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, expressed his satisfaction with the event’s success:

“ALMA Casa de Campo is not just a party; it is a declaration of intent. We have succeeded in bringing the essence of one of Spain’s most important celebrations to our resort, and we have turned it into a platform for binational collaboration. The combination of tradition, the haute cuisine of Chef Freixa, and this vibrant networking demonstrates the quality and vision of the events that Casa de Campo hosts, strengthening our cultural and commercial ties with Spain.”
