Casa de Campo Resort & Villas celebrated the 4th of July in signature style, blending stars-and-stripes tradition with Caribbean energy during a two-day extravaganza from July 4 to 5. This year’s celebration brought together residents, guests and families for a packed weekend of games, music and memory-making under the La Romana sun.

Golf Carts, Glow Swings and Friday Night Fun
Festivities kicked off Friday evening with the popular golf cart decoration contest at the Teeth of the Dog Practice Range. Dozens of creatively decked-out carts rolled in, dressed in red, white and blue, as participants competed for prizes and bragging rights. The friendly competition set the tone for a lighthearted evening full of color and community.
This year’s winners were:
- 1st Place – Lorenzo/Ruiz Family
- 2nd Place – Russell and Rachel Rife
- 3rd Place – James Family
As the sky darkened, the lights came on — literally — for Night Golf. Guests took to the greens for a glow-in-the-dark round, swinging under stars and neon lights. With a laid-back playlist, flowing drinks and relaxed vibes, it was a spirited start to the weekend.

Saturday Sizzle: BBQ, Beats, and a Show to Remember
Saturday’s celebration unfolded at Minitas Beach Club, where guests gathered for an all-ages beachside barbecue with grilled favorites and Caribbean cocktails. The evening began with a lively DJ set, setting the tone for what was to come. Children enjoyed face painting, crafts and sweet treats like popcorn and ice cream.

As night fell, acrobats took the stage for a fiery beachfront performance, dazzling the crowd with high-energy stunts. Live music by 4ta Dimension followed, keeping spirits high as guests danced beneath the stars. Then came the fireworks — a sky-brightening display over the Caribbean Sea that brought the night to a dramatic crescendo. The celebration concluded with another DJ set, bringing the evening to a high note as guests danced late into the night.
A Celebration of Community and Summer Spirit
The weekend was more than a holiday — it was a vibrant celebration of connection, community and summer fun. Guests embraced the festivities by decorating golf carts, dancing by the beach, and enjoying poolside relaxation, all against the backdrop of Casa de Campo’s signature luxury and culture.
From glowing golf balls to beach barbecues and fireworks over the sea, the 4th of July celebration has become a standout summer tradition.

Mark your calendars for 2026. Until then, enjoy the memories and consider starting to plan your golf cart design well in advance.
