Sports and Smiles All Day
The day kicks off early with an 8 a.m. golf tournament at the prestigious La Romana Country Club, offering participants the chance to showcase their skills in a friendly yet competitive setting. Whether you’re an experienced golfer or just out to enjoy the day, this tournament sets the stage for a memorable experience.

At 10 a.m., the excitement continues with a tennis clinic for kids. This clinic offers a perfect opportunity for young tennis enthusiasts to learn new skills and engage in friendly competition under the guidance of experienced coaches. Whether your child is new to tennis or looking to improve their game, this clinic promises fun and valuable instruction.
For those who love a little extra competition, the day wraps up with the 5 p.m. paddle battle, where participants will compete in a fast-paced paddle tournament that will surely keep everyone on their toes. Whether you’re participating or cheering from the sidelines, this high-energy event will be a crowd favorite.

A Celebration With Purpose
The day concludes with an awards dinner party at Minitas Beach Club at 8 p.m., where guests will gather to celebrate the day’s highlights and the mission behind it all. Proceeds benefit Fundación MIR’s educational programs, which support more than 2,000 students through access to schooling, health care and resources in La Romana.
More than a day of games and good times, Fundación MIR Family Day celebrates the power of community and the impact of giving back.
