The timeless classic that has captivated generations comes to life in a dazzling theatrical production. The Wizard of Oz: The Musical is set to enchant audiences at the iconic Altos de Chavón Amphitheater on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
Following its resounding success at the National Theater, this beloved adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale arrives in Casa de Campo with a high-caliber production directed by Alicia Campillo, Master in Performing Arts, and performed by the talented students of Stage Estudio de Arte, along with special guest artists.
The musical tells the unforgettable story of Dorothy, a young girl who dreams of traveling beyond the rainbow. Her journey down the Yellow Brick Road introduces her to three charming companions — the Scarecrow, who longs for a brain; the Tin Man, who seeks a heart; and the Cowardly Lion, who yearns for courage. Together, they confront the fearsome Wicked Witch of the West, learning that the true magic lies in friendship and inner strength.
