Altos de Chavón Art Gallery presents a new sensory experience with Universo Ecológico, an exhibition by Dominican artist German García, on display from April 16 to May 14, 2025. More than a showcase of visual art, García’s work transforms the gallery into a living, breathing experience that explores the connection between humans and the natural world.
A Multi-Sensory Experience
García’s latest work isn’t confined to the traditional canvas. With Universo Ecológico, he adorns the gallery’s walls and beyond, transforming the space into an interactive environment. Through visual art, sound, and organic elements, he creates an experience where viewers are not just passive observers but active participants in a conversation about the planet’s future. Each piece is designed to evoke reflection, inviting guests to engage with the urgent ecological themes García addresses through his unique sensory approach.

The opening night on April 25, 2025, promises a unique experience. Starting at 6:30 p.m., guests will enjoy themed drinks and be introduced to the exhibition’s concept, followed by a special “Meet the Artist” session at 7:15 p.m., where García will share his insights on the work. A formal inauguration will take place at 7:30 p.m., complete with finger food tastings inspired by the exhibition’s themes.
