On Saturday, April 19, The Spa Casa de Campo hosted a unique wellness and fashion event titled Wellness Meets Fashion. Set amid the serene green spaces of the resort, the day offered guests a holistic experience of physical renewal and Caribbean-inspired style.
The morning began at 8:00 a.m. with a Mat Pilates session led by Equilibra, a wellness community founded by movement and holistic health specialists Alexandra Hannecart and Isabela Pichardo.

The class, designed to strengthen the body through mindful movements, provided a dynamic and enriching experience.
With vibrant energy and enthusiastic participation, this session set a powerful tone for a morning focused on wellness at Casa de Campo. It served as an invitation to reconnect with the body, calm the mind, and activate inner strength.

At 9:00 a.m., Victoria Giha, founder of Avocado Hat Studio, led an open-air yoga session by the lake, encouraging a mind-body connection in a peaceful natural setting.
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the event continued with a pop-up by Carolina Socías, the acclaimed Dominican designer known for her tropical and elegant style. Held in the spa’s VIP suite, guests enjoyed custom floatie stations, beach-inspired snacks and refreshing drinks — all within a relaxed atmosphere that merged fashion and wellness.
“We wanted to offer an experience that embodied the perfect balance between self-care and personal style. Wellness Meets Fashion is just the beginning of a series of experiences we will continue to offer to enrich the wellbeing of our community,” said Irene Campaña, Director of The Spa Casa de Campo.
Casa de Campo remains committed to creating holistic experiences that nourish both body and soul. This event was part of the resort’s special programming during the Holy Week holiday.
