Each month, Altos de Chavón transforms into a cultural hub for the highly anticipated Jazzy Nights, where music, art, and creativity come together in a captivating experience. From 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., the event blends live jazz with the vibrant energy of visual art, offering an unforgettable evening for music lovers and art enthusiasts alike.

As the sun sets over the plaza, local artists take to the outdoors, creating live artwork inspired by the melodies filling the air. A jazz band plays an eclectic mix of classic standards and contemporary covers, bringing passion and improvisation to each piece. The combination of music and visual art creates an immersive atmosphere, captivating both locals and visitors seeking a unique cultural experience.

Jazzy Nights is placing special emphasis on engaging children. Young attendees are encouraged to create their own masterpieces with canvases and watercolors provided at the event. Under the guidance of guest painters, these budding artists brought their creativity to life, demonstrating that art and jazz are for all ages. The interaction between the young and experienced artists added a refreshing dynamic to the evening, underscoring the message that art transcends age.

In collaboration with Costasur, Altos de Chavón continues to demonstrate how jazz and art can unite people, offering an enriching experience that celebrates culture and creativity.

The next Jazzy Night is set for Dec. 28 — mark your calendar!
