Colombian music legend Carlos Vives will electrify the stage at Altos de Chavón on Dec. 7, 2024, as part of his “El Rock De Mi Pueblo Vive” tour, celebrating 30 years of his groundbreaking career. The concert, expected to attract over 5,000 fans, will highlight Vives’ lasting influence on Latin music.

Eduardo Durán, artistic producer at ED Live, noted that the performance will pay tribute to Vives’ unique fusion of traditional Colombian rhythms — a style he pioneered in the 1990s, transforming the Latin music scene. “Vives led a movement that inspired a new generation of musicians to embrace Colombia’s local sounds, creating what he calls ‘El Colombiano Pop,’” Durán explained in an official statement.

The two-hour show will feature Vives’ greatest hits, accompanied by guest performers, a dazzling light display, and pyrotechnics. His renowned band will provide the soundtrack for a night that promises to be unforgettable. The event will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of his iconic album Clásicos de la Provincia, which reshaped Latin pop.

Having captivated audiences across Latin America and Europe, the “El Rock De Mi Pueblo Vive” tour continues to be a must-see event. Vives, a Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner, continues to be one of Colombia’s most beloved artists.

Don’t miss out! Tickets for the concert will be available starting Sept. 16 through Uepa Tickets.
