Casa de Campo gears up for another year of community generosity and fun with the much-anticipated 27th annual Hogar del Niño Weekend, set to take place on February 17. An event that seamlessly blends entertainment with a noble cause, this fundraiser promises a day of camaraderie and compassion at La Romana Country Club.

This annual affair is a vital fundraising platform for the Patronato Benéficio Oriental’s organization and schools. The Hogar del Niño is an esteemed educational and daycare center in La Romana that diligently attends to the needs of over 1,500 children daily. Not merely limited to education, this institution offers essential medical and dental care, specialized education for 75 hearing-impaired and blind children, and vocational training for more than 200 students.

In past editions, participants kicked off the day’s activities at the La Romana Country Club. Commencing at 7:30 in the morning, the event commenced with a delightful breakfast, followed by golf enthusiasts teeing off in groups of four every ten minutes based on their Tee Time.

Last year, the event lineup spanned diverse activities, from traditional golf and tennis tournaments to yoga, padel, pickleball, and even a creative sip-and-paint session. Each activity allowed attendees to engage in sport and leisure, fostering a community spirit while contributing to a noble cause.

As the event organizers finalize the schedule and specifics for this year’s festivities, anticipation swells within the community. We can’t wait to experience everything in store this year! For now, SAVE THE DATE!
