The National Company of Contemporary Dance (Compañía Nacional de Danza Contemporánea) of the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Culture will present THIS Saturday, February 13th at the Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima a dance performance called “Propulsion”.
‘Propulsion’ reflects on the natural circularity of life, and the illusion of linearity, defined as progression and goal. Explore the power of the circular path and propulsion produced in the bodies.
The organizers of this event have left it up to the public to decide whether they want to watch the play in the center of the stage, sitting on the floor, or in the audience seats. They also motivate the audience to film, photograph and upload images of the performance to Instagram with the hashtag, #propulsiondanza.
The Aldea Cultural Santa Rosa de Lima alongside the National Company of Contemporary Dance invite all members of the Casa de Campo and La Romana communities to witness this spectacular dance performance.
