Seriously! Just when we thought Altos de Chavón couldn’t get any better – we have discovered that yet another business is poised to open in our artists village!
UPDATE: We’ve just found out that the name of this new Café will actually be “Café de Paris” and it will be a tea salon with ice-cream! More details soon!
“Café del Pais” “Café de Paris” will be located in the charming plaza behind the St Stanislaus church, to the side of the Altos de Chavón Archaeological Museum and behind Papa Jacks. This is the location once occupied by Elementos furniture and most recently by Rústicos y Más furniture. It is a beautiful space with a lovely indoor air-conditioned lounge, as well as a rustic outdoor patio – we can’t wait to once again see this space come to life!
Although we have not yet been able to get in contact with the owners of this new business, we have been led to believe that it is the same owners of La Petite Maison, which was opened in the Coco Mall of the Marina Casa de Campo last October.
As for what will be on the menu we shall have to wait and see, but we won’t have to wait too long – from what we hear the plan is to open next Sunday the 15th of March.
As soon as Café del Pais Café de Paris is open and we have more information we will let you know!
