The crowd of Casa de Campo villa owners and residents, former and current great latino baseball players at the Honorary Chairman’s Dinner were all left star struck with the arrival of El Grande, Pedro Martinez.
Pedro Martinez who was recently announced as a new member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown, is also one of the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2015, who are being inducted at the Grand Induction Ceremony on Saturday February 7th at 8pm at the amphitheater in Altos de Chavón.
Acting as the host of the gathering in place of Alfy Fanjul, honorary chairman of the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame, was Pepe Fanjul Jr., while also in attendance was Rafael Torres, president of the Casa de Campo Hotel.
Among the latino baseball stars taking part in the activity, who will also be seen tonight at the Grand Induction Ceremony was Carlos Beltrán, Omar Moreno, Bert Campaneris, Rafael Avila, Tommy Lasorda, Felipe Alou, Moises Alou, Roberto Kelly, Carlos Delgado, Victor Davalillo and Cookie Octavio Rojas.
