Last Wednesday the 23rd of October, Malele (Ana Maria) Strofer and Yrene Caslini celebrated their birthdays – Barbie style, and we loved it!
“I’m a Barbie girl… in a Barbie world!”
Hosted in the beautiful Casa de Campo villa of Malele Strofer, the team of TRES Eventos, [Casa de Campo’s leading events planning company], created the perfect Barbie world. Pink balloons, pink chairs, pink cushions, pink candles, a big pink cake, pink flowers and even pink drinks… not to mention the “caja de Barbie”. The “caja de Barbie” or rather the Barbie box a lady-size recreation of the boxes Barbies are sold in – and where all of Malele’s and Yrene’s Barbie guests posed for endless photos!
“Hi Barbie! Hi Ken!”
Was Ken invited? Well of course he was! All the waiters were dressed in KEN t-shirts – meaning that the Kens spent the party waiting on the Barbies… just as it should be, right!?“I’m a blond bimbo girl, in a fantasy world”
Wigs galore! If there is one thing that Casa de Campo ladies know how to do – it’s dress up and my oh my didn’t we all get excited about this Barbie theme! The sky was the limit when it came to creating the perfect Barbie costume as everyone donner peroxide blonde wigs, and modelled themselves on all kinds of different Barbies – Princess Barbie, hippie Barbie, sporty Barbie, modern Barbie and even pregnant Barbie!“Come on Barbie let’s go party!”
And party we did! With the celebration starting at 4:30pm, by the time it got dark… we all became dancing Barbie!!
