Frequent visitors to Altos de Chavón may have noticed that our friend Margarito has suddenly become MargaritA! He has become a SHE!
So what has happened?
Did Margarito have a sex change?
No.
Did Margarito pass away?
No.
Margarito is on vacation!
Yes really, Altos de Chavón’s beer-guzzling donkey is having a break from his gruelling schedule of posing for photos and taking tourists on walks around the cobbles. Instead he is enjoying some rest and relaxation with the rest of the herd down at the Casa de Campo Dude Ranch.
“He was alone for so long that we decided to let him hang out with the rest of the herd and take a little vacation.. He will be back for the season”, Calixto García-Velez manager of sports for The Sporting Life told Casa de Campo Living.
