Super news! Not only are the much awaited tickets for the Julio Iglesias concert in Altos de Chavón now on sale – but also a whopping 20% of ticket sales made by the Fundación MIR to be contributed to this fabulous charity that runs 3 schools in La Romana!
Tickets for the Julio Iglesias concert scheduled for Saturday the 28th of December at 8pm in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater in Casa de Campo are already on sale (see below for prices) – at the Fundación MIR office in Altos de Chavón, who will receive a 20% of the sales they make. Tickets are also on sale at UEPA Tickets (Bella Vista Mall) and MovieMax stores in Santo Domingo, as well as Jumbo in La Romana – BUT we urge you to purchase your tickets directly from the Fundación MIR – as a percentage of all sales made the Fundación MIR will be donated to their cause, this is NOT the case if you buy your tickets from somewhere else.
This will be the the 6th time, Julio Iglesias, the world-famous Spanish singer and songwriter will take to the stage of the Altos de Chavón amphitheater to serenade his fans with his many hit songs like “A veces tú, a veces yo”, “Corazón de papel”, “El amor”, and “El Bacalao”! With this performance, part of his World Tour to promote his latest album “Julio Iglesias 1″, Julio Iglesias will become the artist to have performed the most times at the magnificent open air amphitheater in Altos de Chavón, which over the last 30 years has hosted numerous intenational and national artists in more than 170 concerts.

The Fundación MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
