Christmas in Altos de Chavón - Casa de Campo announces calendar of festive events!

Here ye! Here ye! The countdown to the Christmas season has begun and today we bring you brilliant news……..the program of festive fun and activities in Altos de Chavón has now been confirmed – so here we bring you all the jolly details!

For the 3rd consecutive year, the holiday season will be officially opened in Altos de Chavón with a special “Inauguration” event on Saturday the 8th of December – with events starting from 6pm; the arrival of Santa Claus (6pm – 8pm), a theatrical presentation by the Dominican Travelling Theater (6pm – 7pm), the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony (7pm) and a concert “Christmas in Chavón” presented by the Juan Pablo Duarte Symphonic Orchestra with a choir from the National Conservatory of Music (8pm).

Meanwhile, another unmissable event is scheduled for Saturday December the 15th – The Colors of Dance ballet performance in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater. This show will represent the debut of the Dominican National Ballet in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater and promises to be a spectacular fusion of the arts – with dances inspired by famous Dominican plastic artists; Jose Miura, Elsa Núñez, Fernando Ureña Rib, Aquiles Azar, Amaya Salazar and Dustin Muñoz
