On Wednesday the 10th of October, Scotiabank as official sponsors of the Dominican Baseketball League 2012, hosted a cocktail at their La Romana branch in honor of the 2012 champions – Los Cañeros of La Romana.
In attendance at this celebratory gathering were the talented players of the Los Cañeros basketball team, Carlos Feliciano, Los Cañeros team manager, VIP guests from both La Romana and Casa de Campo, as well as Scotiabank executives, such as Jean-Pierre Santoni, General Manager of Scotiabank La Romana and Casa de Campo.
A star attraction at the cocktail was the Dominican Baseketball League trophy – which became the focal point of numerous photo opportunities (see above) and which is currently on display at the La Romana branch of Scotiabank- where Scotiabank customers can go and see it.
