The Abraham School Art exhibit was open in the Altos de Chavón art gallery from Friday May 25th through to Monday June 4th and was fabulous! Although the exhibit has now sadly closed, here we bring you photos of all the excellent pieces of artwork presented by each and every student of the Abraham Lincoln School!
The annual Abraham Lincoln School art exhibit was officially inaugurated on Friday May 25th among the joyous laughter and bubbly excitement of the young artists of the future of the school and their proud parents and teachers, as well as a group of keen Casa de Campo art aficionados who vere miss an opening of a new exhibit at the gallery (myself included!)
Amongst the crowd admiring the impressive collection of art work, we found Miss Hughes, a lower school teacher at the school who proudly showed us the “mixed-up” creations of her class – imaginative drawings of creatures such as the “Crabatake” by Herdel – a mix of a crab, bat and a snake and the “Deerbeechickat” by Fernando – a combination of a deer, bee, chicken and a rat!
