The internationally famous and popular Spanish news channel “CNN En Español” just visited Casa de Campo as part of their tour of the Dominican Republic filming for their weekly travel show “Destinos” (Destinations)!
The footage filmed both in Casa de Campo and in other popular tourist destinations around the Dominican Republic will be aired this Saturday the 21st and next Saturday the 28th of April at 8:30pm on “CNN En Español” – shown on channel 26 in the Dominican Republic.
During their visit to Casa de Campo, the team led by experienced journalist Claudia Palacios and producer Natali Monterrosa, were received by Claudio Silvestri, President and CEO of Premier Resorts and Hotels, the managing company of Casa de Campo, and the hotel’s General Manager, Daniel Hernández who was interviewed about the wonderful Casa de Campo resort, which is also the World’s Leading Golf resort.

As the team visited different areas around the extensive Casa de Campo complex, they also filmed the various activities and world class facilities Casa de Campo has to offer hotel guests villa owners and other visitors such as the 3 Pete Dye designed golf courses; the Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and Links, the world-class restaurants such as the Beach Club by Le Cirque and of course the luxury villa accommodations.
CNN En Español filming in Altos de Chavón
Of course the famous artist’s village of Altos de Chavon was also included in the filming, when Alfredo Lucero, representing the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design led a tour through the spectacular cobbled streets to the various artisan craft shops and the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design, where a number of the school’s students were interviewed.
The “Destinos” (Destinations) program which has more than 11 million viewers throughout Latin America and the the United States, is popular for transporting it’s viewers on a weekly trip to exotic and adventurous places around the world, along with interesting travel tips, romantic getaways and cultural destinations!
