TONIGHT, Christmas and the holidays is going to be inaugurated with the biggest and most elaborate celebration Altos de Chavón has ever seen! With the Bazaar Navideño, a visit from Santa Claus, the Nutcracker Ballet, the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, a choir performance called “A Christmas Harmony” and FIREWORKS! Some of these events have literally only just been confirmed, so here we bring you a finally summary of the fun!
TONIGHT (Friday Dec.16th): CHRISTMAS arrives to Altos de Chavón!
4PM: The Bazaar Navideño (part 2) opens in the Altos de Chavón PLAZA
4:00PM – 6:30PM: Santa comes to visit!
7PM: The Nutcracker Ballet in the Altos de Chavón AMPHITHEATER
8PM (approx.): The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Altos de Chavón AMPHITHEATER
9.30PM: FIREWORKS and choir performance “A Christmas Harmony” by the “Grupo Armonia” on the Altos de Chavón PLAZA
Don’t forget the Christmas celebrations will also be continuing in Altos de Chavón TOMORROW (Saturday the 17th of December) with the 1st Annual Holiday Golf Cart Parade, the Bazaar Navideño and another ballet performance in the amphitheater “Folklore a los cuatro vientos”
SATURDAY (Dec. 17th): The Christmas celebrations continue in Altos de Chavón!
3.30pm: The 1st annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade!
4pm: Bazaar Navideño (part 2, day 2) opens
4pm – 10pm: Shopping, eating, drinking and being merry!
8pm: Ballet “Folklore a los cuatro vientos” in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater!

The above photo was taken by myself (Rebecca Hughes) last night at the spectacular ENDANZA ballet performance in front of the Altos de Chavón church! More photos will be published soon! And the secret….there were no fireworks, I photoshopped them in so you can imagine how amazing the fireworks will look tonight!!!
