Everett Designs jewelry, founded by William and Rosemary Everett in 1979, has more than 30 years experience creating timeless pieces for Casa de Campo glamorous community, visitors and special celebrity guests, such as the late Elizabeth Taylor.
A fan of Casa de Campo, Elizabeth Taylor visited the Casa de Campo resort over several years, including in 2002 when she invited Bill Everett to her rented Casa de Campo villa in Punta Minitas for Piña Coladas. “She was a valued client of ours and a very sweet woman” says Bill, who was thrilled to have her visit the Everett designs store in the Marina Casa de Campo on 4 separate occasions.
During her time in Casa de Campo, as well as shopping for jewelry at Everett’s, Elizabeth Taylor also supported the Fundación MIR charity, attending a number of the Magical Splendor for Life fundraising events. This year the Fundación MIR’s Magical Splendor for Life event will take place on Friday the 27th of January – click here for details.
Following her death earlier this year, the “Elizabeth Taylor Collection” is now being auctioned by Christies, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF). And within the collection, 13 Everett pieces being auctioned in 4 lots:
Whilst we sadly don’t have a Louis Vuitton store here in Casa de Campo, those Casa de Campo villa owners will find an excellent selection of luggage, purses, shoes, scarves and sunglasses as well as men’s accessories at their store in Blue Mall, Santo Domingo.
