What are you doing this Saturday the 8th of October? Nothing? Well in that case – let’s play golf! Register now for the 1st “La Romana Open” golf tournament, which will be taking place at the La Estancia golf resort.

The “La Romana Open” golf tournament is a charity tournament being played to raise money for the ‘Camara de Comercio y Producción de La Romana’ (La Romana’s Chamber of Commerce), an institution which has existed in La Romana since 1929, whose aim is to promote and protect business in the greater La Romana area.

The tournament is being organized by FEDOGOLF (the Dominican Federation for Golf).

Where: The “La Estancia” golf resort – just a short drive outside of Casa de Campo, in the direction of Bayahibe/Dominicus
Mode: Best Ball in pairs with 80% Handicap
(Categoría A 0-10, Categoría B 11-19, Categoría C 20-24)
Price: RD$4,000 p/p

Price of lunch for people not playing in the tournament: RD$1,500

Over the last 2 years I have been lucky enough to play in (and even win some prizes) in golf tournaments at the La Estancia golf resort and I have always had a fantastic time. This Saturday I will be playing (or rather trying to play) and I look forward to seeing you there too!
