INVERSIONES BASTILLQA DEL CARIBE – I.B.C. shipyard celebrated last Saturday, the 3rd of September its tenth anniversary with a party for all it’s employees, yacht crew and clients.

The event celebrated at the Marina Casa de Campo, actually in the I.B.C Shipyard, started with a few words from Mauro Caslini, president of I.B.C. shipyard, expressed his gratitude towards his many employees: “I’m highly grateful and happy to have you all here, this party is for you. Today we are celebrating ten years on the market, a competitive market that demands quality; quality that we offer thanks to all of you, who with effort and dedication have demonstrated being a very important key in the company. Thank you for being part of our project, for learning some of others; for believing and grow up with us. I am grateful also to my family for their support and comprehension, at all times” – expressed, Caslini.

To mark the Shipyards 10th anniversary, Mr. Caslini rewarded 7 employees who have been with the company since the beginning, with recognitions for their loyalty and dedication to the company. As well as these rewards, all of the IBC Shipyard personnel received recognitions on behalf of the Human Resources department and Infotep – following the successful completion of a training workshop.

With all formalities out of the way, it was time to enjoy the food, drinks, music and a dancing contest!!! Competitors of the dance contest wowed the audience with their impressive latin rhythm and moves to a mix of traditional Dominican music; merengue, bachata and reggaeton. Judging the contest were were two professional dancers – Armando Amaya and Paola Mabel Ramirez, from Pointé dance school in La Romana.

 At the end of a fierce and rather sweaty contest Ángel Guerrero with partner Mary Morla were prounounced the winners, with runners up, Osvaldo Perdomo and Lady Laura. It was a fabulous event, hosted by Mr. Caslini and his family, filled with happiness and festivity – that didn’t end until midnight!
