Yesterday, Monday the 27th of June NBA basketball legend, Lebron James took a little time out from his Casa de Campo vacation to meet the rising basketball stars of the Fundacion MIR.
The 12 lucky boys, who study at the Fundación MIR’s boy’s school the ‘MIR Esperanza’, who are all basketball players and huge basketball fans met with Lebron James at a Casa de Campo villa, where the boys were so mesmerized by their baseball hero they were virtually stunned into silence!
Lebron, who just completed the 2010-2011 basketball season with Miami Heat was very friendly with the boys, greeting each one personally saying hello and shaking their hands, before glamorous Casa de Campo photographer and journalist Rebecca Hughes (me), led the group outside where they posed for photos on the lawn.
Before heading back inside the Casa de Campo villa to enjoy the rest of his vacation, Lebron told us that he had enjoyed his time in Casa de Campo very much – especially a boat trip to Palmilla.
Here you can see another photo of Lebron James posing with the boys – this time you can see that Philip Silvestri and your favorite photographer/journalist/Casa de Campo entertainment expert, Rebecca Hughes (me), snuck into the photo!
For the boys of the Fundación MIR meeting such a great basketball legend was rather exciting, so here are a few other photos of the occasion:

Chris Paul, fellow NBA basketball star was also in Casa de Campo at the same time as Lebron James, to see photos of Chris Paul in Casa de Campo and at Palmilla, click here.
